With ASSEFA aid you can help an Indian child, write to him and let him leave in a laborious economic framework and well rooted in his culture.

Children are our potential future and have to be protected from society negative strenghts. They must not be instrumentalized for any reason at all and need to keep their cultural roots.
To sponsorship a child with ASSEFA means to establish a human relationship with one single pupil. You will receive news about him (with a photo), about his family and the village where he lives. The adoptive parent should write cards or little letters and send his photo; the child will answer sending drawings and little letters. It’s useful to consider the distance between Italy and India and that the children write the letters in the classroom with the help of the teachers so every adoptive parent should receive the corrispondence a couple of times times a year. The adoptive parent can go to India to visit his child. Our office in Sanremo will provide to give the necessary information.

The cost for the adoption is of 150 Euro a year, 120,00 euro are sent to India and the rest of the amount is to cover the expenses of Assefa secretariat.
All what the Groups are able to save is sent to ASSEFA India for the necessities of the villages, moreover for financing the schools.

In India the sums obtained from the adoptions are put together and for every child is organized an health and scholastic programme. The family and the brother of the child are involved in the development village programmes. In this way all the children have the same opportunities without particoular privileges. So the adoptive parent gives his help to all the families of the villages.

The assembly of the village chooses the poorest children for the adoptions and gives by ASSEFA India scholastic system some case histories with all the information of the children, of the villages where he lives of the economic conditions of the family and the photo of the child. It’s very important to fact that the child can remain in his land with his family and in the meanwhile has the possibilty of improving the quality of his life.
